Registration is now open for the Governor’s Small Business Summit, scheduled for August 21, 2025, at the Reagan County Community Building, 1305 N. Montana Ave., in Big Lake. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This summit aims to support Texas small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs by connecting them with essential resources and valuable information needed to successfully start, strengthen, and grow their businesses. Attendees will have access to various sessions featuring local, state, and federal resource partners who will offer insights on critical business topics.
Joe Esparza, Commissioner Representing Employers from the Texas Workforce Commission, will serve as the featured speaker. The event also presents an opportunity to network with other business owners and meet industry experts.
Hosted in collaboration with the Big Lake Economic Development Corporation and the Texas Workforce Commission, the registration fee is $20 per participant. Registration includes admission to all sessions, interactions with resource providers, lunch, and complimentary professional headshots.
