The Big Lake Chamber of Commerce made it official last Thursday voting to cancel the group’s Santa Rita Star Spangled Celebration for this year. The event was scheduled for July 4th at the Reagan County North Park and was set to feature Whiskey Myers and Kevin Fowler. “It is with a heavy heart that we have to do this,” Chamber Director Loretta Epperson said. “We held off as long as we could before making a decision. It is in the best interest of everyone involved to cancel it at this point.”
