The Reagan County Sheriff's Department continued their crack-down on drugs in Big Lake Wednesday evening with a search warrant at 901 Ohio Avenue.

The search warrant was issued using information gathered from a cooperating individual pointing to drugs, specifically meth, being inside the home.

Ariel Martinez, 39, and Mireya Esquivel, 20, were inside the home when the search warrant was executed on Wednesday evening.

Both were placed under arrest for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, More than 4 Grams but Less than 200 grams.

Investigators seized 32 grams of methamphetamine from the home along with cash and drug paraphernalia.

As with all criminal cases, both Martinez and Esquivel are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
