Reagan County Sheriff Jeff Garner stood before the Reagan County ISD Board of Trustees Monday evening to lay out his vision of school safety. Garner said he has received numerous calls recently from concerned citizens in the wake of school shootings across the country. “Most of those people, along with the school board members I’ve talked one on one with, are in agreement that we should do more by way of providing security for our schools,” Garner said.
